Nice photography. I especially like the lighting in a couple of the shots - really shows how deep the red looks. Is that the original red? It looks better than ones I see (probably faded).

I dunno about his car, but rio red changes its color and tone under different light colors. It could have just been the place you were loking at them.

I cut, polished, and sealed it. The original owner took pretty good care of it, and Subaru didnt go cheap with the paint.

Wow, I can honetly say that is probobly my favorite Legacy. perfect combo of rims and color. CF scoop eh... Do we see more made in the future? Maybe a few of us could pay and have them made at the same time.
As for the rims, did you paint them? Lat time I looked Team dynamics didn't have a very good choice in colors.

How are you going to cure the carbon fiber? Room temp? I know a guy who works for an aerospace carbon fiber company. If I see him again, I could see if there were anyway to use their autoclave. He's told me there's a lot of Subaru guys there, too (most of them have EJ powered aircraft).

Dont mean to hijack the thread...I'm looking to buy a 92 touring wagon, but I'm kinda unsure about the interior. I'm 6'5", am I going to fit? Anyone care to pimp their driver's seat to me for a test fit, near Portland?

if all goes well, i'll be purchasing a 92 touring wagon in the next week or so.
I'm also currently driving a 91 L wagon
i dont think there's any difference between the L's and turbos, though. If you want to meet me sometime in the next week, i'm sure i could arrange a trip to portland with a friend or 2.
I've got wrx seats in the leg, but seat height is very close to the same.

I'm almost 6'5" and fit fine. As fine as a tall ass mofo will fit. I dont sit half way back either, normal seating position.

I'm 6'1" and have no problems. I have looonnngggg legs though. My seat is almost all the way back.
I love those rims, but 23 pounds is insane

I agree about the weight. The rotas are much lighter, but that doesnt make those look any less awesome. Speaking of seats, I just picked up a set of Celica GTS seats with blue trim for the superbaru. Looks like its gonna be a great fit, and oh so comfortable. $150 for both seats and the rails in near mint condition.

My boss is 6 something. His head hits my sunroof shade when he is in the front seat and the roof when he is in the back. hehe
He doesn't complain about it though.

Hey rallitek, what springs do you have? What is your suspension setup?

I used Perrin springs in front, stock in rear, wrapped around WRX dampeners.
I still need to roll the rear fenders before I drop the rear, its on my long ass "to do" list.

HA HA, he must have exellent posture.

Nice looking ride!
Did you paint the grill too? What about the rims?
If so, any special paint, method?
Cost?
You're riding in style!

The perrin springs are for WRX, and I think they were about $300
Dunt remember exactly, cause I traded some work for em.
and I painted the grill with Plasticoat flat black, in several thin coats. Seems to be holding up quite well.
