What's the deal with this? People are always pissed at me when I'm driving the subaru.

The most common one is when get cut in front of at a four way stop. They then freak out cause I'm starting to enter the intersection like i'm supposed to. *Ba-ching* out comes the bird.

Yesterday for no reason an oncoming driver in the opposing lane on a wide open road just starts screaming at me like I kicked his dog. It's extra funny because no matter how hard people yell I still can't hear a darn word there saying.

I've been thinking it's because my car is white maybe. It's either hard to see; or people think it's a slowmoving fleet car.

What do you guys think?

I get pretty well ignored though I have had old people yell at me to slow down even though I'd be going under the speed limit. Old people are stupid young people that lived too long.

I think you may need a third party opinion of your driving technique. I'm available for consultation, beginner rally training, and orientation. cost is variable. Available locally in federal way.

I think it might be the driver and not the car.

I'll get some bad looks or fingers flailing my way on occasion...... I however am pretty sure most of the time it's the driver ;) Whether it's me getting pissed at slow people and passing them or not is debatable.....

well in my case it usually because i have one of three brothers mooning someone else in traffic. Ahh, the price we pay for absolute comedy.

Try driving a old suby with North Dakota plates through the Colorado mountains. I'm from CO and enjoy very much driving in the mountains. And even though I was far from holding anybody up (putting the new struts and exhaust to the test), I still got the "F-in flatlander look" every once and awhile. I guess if I was still a full time Coloradoan and got passed in the hills by a 92 Subaru with ND plates and no hubcaps, I'd be a bit miffed too  .

I get lots of dirty looks from old fogeys whenever I drive through a neighborhood, even though I'm doing 5 over at the most (probably jealous  ) ...
