Some ideas to help out BoostJunkie

Hey this may be a far fetched idea, but does anyone out there want to buy his car and part it out? With the money you'd make you could easily pay get payed back for the cost and make some money on the side. I figure if you have a big enough heart you'd just take the money for labor and give the guy the rest so he can buy another turbo (like Opie's for example).
Thawa and I were talking and we'd be willing to part the car out but we hae no way of getting it out here. Plus I'm sure Ciper would be willing to come help once in a while on the weekends. (not hinting at anything Ciper.
Just an idea. I just hate to see a good car go like that.

If you look at the parts he's got there's much more than 2k
lsd= 200-300
16g= 300
98rs wheels= 500
engine with crossmember and exhaust= at least 1000
Even if you wanted to stick with the 2000 dollar price boostjunkie wants for his car you would make extra money in the end. There's gotta be someone out there who wants to do it

Oh man, if I had the money right now I would do it in a heart beat.

We need to keep the car and Boostjunkie in the family.

I would totally do something, but I'm about 600 miles away and technically I'm only supposed to have one car here, though I could probably get away with it for a little while to part it out. My 1st floor apartment with easy access kitchen door also has a spare room and the kitchen to store parts in. The distance is killer, though. I'd buy the whole car for $2500 if I had a job right now. I could drive down to pick up parts, but I can't move the whole car. If there was anything I could do or if someone thinks of something...

Just saw this post. Hehe. This is the first time I started looking at other forums besides the classifieds.
At any rate, if you guys can come up with the money then I'm all for it. However, there are a couple buyers who are already looking to take it within the next couple of days.
Believe me, I'd love to get the car in your hands, but right now I'm really stuck with not too many alternatives
JUst so you guys know, I MIGHT be able to have a friend store the car in his garage, and I guess it wouldn't matter whether it was titled to me or not. I'm in the process of trying to get him to agree to this . . . which might buy you some time to try and get the car shipped out.

I'll throw out that idea to him, however, I'd still need the payment for the car pretty soon in order for this to work. You might want to talk to the guys near my area to see if they'll jump in on this (BAC5.2, legacy92ej22t, vrg3, and rallysam).
