I wanted to upgrade the swaybar in the rear of my 1993 subaru L 4wd wagon
I looked under the car and there was no swaybar insight, no brackets, nothing.
Some on told me i need a contorol arm with the bracket? They also said i need brackets?
Has any one ever done this?
Where would i get all these parts for the instaltion of the sway bar.

I went from no rear swaybar to all whiteline compnents. You will need to get control arms w/ a bracket for the swaybar. You could get a set of 4, or just a set of 2 rear arms.

You'll also want swaybar mounts and endlinks. I'd recommend:

BSR19XZ Whiteline rear 18-22 swaybar
KBR20-22 Whiteline rear swaybar mounts
KLC19 Whiteline rear swaybar links

Do the control arms have the holes for drop link attachment?

Before you buy new control arms, do as ciper suggests and check to see if the holes are there.

I added a rear sway bar to a 93 Impreza AWD. The holes were there, but covered.

I had to go to the yard and pull control arms (with the link mounts), the sway bar, and the frame attachments to complete the swaybar install. These all came off a '95 or '96 legacy. I didnt use the stock rubber endlinks because they suck, but I did purchase some aluminum endlinks with poly bushings instead.

Install went great once I got the frame control arm bolt off...which took over a week to eventually get off.
