Die-Cut BBS stickers...

What color do you guys want? I'm talking with a sticker maker now, and trying to figure out colors for the LegacyCentral stickers.

I figured I would just have the font shown Here because that's the one that Dave has on the Cafe Central.

I figure you guy's wanted some die-cut stickers since they are cleaner, so I will get them for you.

Come to a consensus on the size and the color (multiple colors will be possible without any problems I'm sure), and I'll get back with some prices.

I was thinking just white because it looks good on all colors.

Just let me know guys and I'll get some prices and everything.

Ok, can someone please explain what "die cut" means in sticker technology?

Sooooo....

You're just looking for different sizes than the bumper, 3x5 rect and 3x5 oval?

I redid the oval and rect designs a bit ago, something a little fancier perhaps. I would like some feedback on these designs and your general impressions of the designs we currently have available.

Not quite -- the die-cut stickers, once applied, only consist of the letters themselves. There's no background. I don't know why I didn't just say that instead of linking to that other page.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense now :D

I have one of these on my left rear window for the team i'm in, it's the only sticker on the car.

Exactly Dave. I don't want to pull business away from the site, I just want people to have the stickers they want.

I won't be doing any markup, simply taking the orders for the stickers, buying them and shipping them out.

It's all good. If people want them and you can get something set up that's simple, i'm all for it. I'll probably buy a white one from you :D

The main reason for Cafepress is that we can do more than stickers, which will be nice.

I'd get two for the insides of the rear windows in a light gray.

I don't like stickers......depending on the size and color, I'd possibly put a small die cut one under the center brake light on the back window......

Cool deal Dave, in retrospect, I should have asked you first, lol.

I'm not taking orders yet, I just want to know what colors and size we want.

"A small one" doesn't really do me any good. I was thinking something like 1.5" tall letters however long that turns out to be?

I don't know about interior and exterior ones, I could ask. Right now, I am thinking about JUST exterior ones (since they will be more applicable to people).

I wanted something like this:

Image

Only saying "bbs.legacycentral.org" or just "Legacycentral.org"

I might ask how much trouble it would be to just have you guys go directly to the maker with the size and style you want and deal that way.

Have we pretty much set on having the font I posted above ( This one )

Or do we wan't another style? Do we want bbs.legacycentral.org or just legacycentral.org?

Hmm....that SHO looks awfully familiar. :P I would edit out the plate number if it were me though.

I'd probably buy a couple of the small (1.5" or whatever you decide) ones in white.

I like that font and think that bbs.legacycentral.org looks better personally. It's more balanced and symmetrical then legacycentral.org.

Lol, I'll tell him to edit the picture.

So are we looking at getting white, and just dealing with that?

I figure the graphic will be low-key enough that white won't detract from anything, even on non-white cars.

So far I'm thinking 1.5" tall and however long, in white. External die-cut vinyl stickers.

What LegacyCentral needs, is a logo...

We do need a logo and perhaps even a slogan. Should i have a contest or something?

Yes Dave. Yes you should have a contest. :)

I'd put one of those on my car, even if I didn't have a subaru!

Let me know how much they cost, there is a company here in town that can make them, i wouldn't mind comparing costs.

Sure thing. I'll see if I can excercise a few connections.

I'll say 1.5" tall letters, however long that turns out to be.

Did you find out what font it is, or are you jsut printing it off and taking it in?

i could throw together a logo, though i remember that nobody seemed to want a logo initally when there was voting done. I dont want anything bigger than half an inch on my car, i have 1 inch tall letters printed out, and comparing that to my car, it scared me...

How can you even see .5" tall letters?

mTk - I saved the photo file to a disk and I will be taking it in.

Laurel - The .5" letters don't look as bad as I thought. I'll talk to the people and see if they can offer different sizes.

I really dig the idea you used for the STi. What did you make that picture off of (the original?)

We need a model Legacy though. I'd like to nominate my 94 SS ;)

We also need a pose.
