Anyone see it? The WRX has over 800+chp, 0-60 in just over 2 seconds and over 140 mph in the 1/4! I got to see the ESX WRX at the E.C.S. last year and it is a monster! The turbo is big enough to eat a small child and it has a dry ice AWIC. Actually, I'm not sure if there's any air to the setup but I'm starting to ramble.
Oh, those EVO RS's looked pretty sweet too.

No, that's not the ESX car but that's bad ass!

Did you notice what engine he was using?
I'll see if I can dig anything up on the ESX cars.

Yep, Car and Driver TV on Spike TV in the Power Block. It's only a small little part when they're at SEMA.

i love how it says worlds fastest EJ20!

the red wrx wagon is fastest, its a 2.2 stroker, not a 2.2 block. note the ES car is done using rigolis 2.2 stroker as well, there are at least 20 cars over here that could beat that time.

Ya, that's why I said it wasn't accurate. I found the ESX site and it say's worlds fastest NEW GEN WRX which is more accurate. They also have that same run (the red wagon in Australia) on the ESX website so I think they know that they're slower.
The wagon you're talking about's web site says that their 2.0 strokers are 2.13 ltr and they have 2.2's listed w/ stroker at 2.4 ltr. Are you sure they aren't using the 2.2 block? It says EJ22 not EJ20 w/stroker.

its definately a closed deck 2ltr block from a 94 wrx, it runs something like 60psi from the turbo

the intercooler is mounted at the front and the radiator is mounted where the stock intercooler normally would go. i had the pleasure of watching it go without launching and without Nos do a 10.3 sec 1/4

the thing is an animal!!

we have 2.2 ltr strokers and 2.4 ltr stroker kits available for our 2ltr blocks, most people opt for the 2.2 stroker because it still retains the factory redline limit.
