The other night i was driving next to a friend, me in my N/A Legacy 2.2 and my friend in her car, we were mucking around a bit, i was in 4th gear, double clutched and down-shifted into 2nd(dont be alarmed i know how far the revs jump from each gear) and slammed the gas and heard a loud bang from the bottom of the car, i thought i just blew 2nd gear, i pulled over and started from 1st and all was fine, and the next day my friend told me she heard the bang from her car. I believe this noise had something to do with the driveshaft?

Is it possible that your engine backfired or something, or are you pretty sure it was under the car?
You may want to lift the car and examine all the joints where the transmission connects to the driveshaft and where the driveshaft connects to the rear differential and everything. I know that the reason Subarus often "thud" when shifting hard is that there are so many joints to add a little slop to the drivetrain. It's possible that one of yours may be loose or something... just a thought.

that infamous subaru thud is the rear diff moving around, think it hits the rear subframe under hard acceleration, no biggie but you should load of the drivetrain smoothly to avoid shockloading internals

At first thought i was also thinking the rear diff hitting the rear crossmember.
Whiteline has a diff lock kit, ordered mine a few days ago

A diff lock kit? As in lock it into place, or lock the it in to no slippage between the axles?

I think it just locks the differential to the chassis so it doesn't move around as much.
