What should I pay for a set of stock WRX wheels with stock tires? They are in good condition.
I need to know quick!
Thanks guys!

'bout $300 or less I would think.

They have less than 1k miles on them. I offered $200. He said he'd think about it, which really means "more money"

I hear some sets going for 200, some for 300. . . depends on the bartering, and the condition/mileage of the set.
If he's not sure, offer him like. . . $240 and see if he bites.

Well... if you want to send me $40 then I'd be willing to do that, lol.
I've gotta have a few bones left to get my IC pipe welded up.

You don't need these ASAP, right? If that's true, it's no big loss if he won't take the $200. Just wait for another deal.
Is he local?

I got mine for $230 in good condition (a few scratches that you can only see when you are detailing them). The tires had about 30%-40% life left in them.
They were local too which is hard to find around these parts so I kinda had to take them for $230 or suffer shipping costs of over $100.
But really, $230 for a set of wheels in good condition with decent tires isn't bad at all...
good wheels with only 1,000 miles.....I would offer him like $250....especially if he is local

I'm looking for 16" Forester alloys and these things are as expensive as aftermarket wheels on ebay. I don't even want tires.
WRXs are like 350+ on ebay and I wouldn't personally wouldn't pay that.

No rush, just something that will eventually need to be done. The tires on my rims now are new, so I've got any amount of time to get the new rims/tires. The only downside is that the current tires are SSHHIITTYYY.
The guy was local, but he's in no rush to sell.

Stock WRX tires aren't so great either though.

Likely better than the "Mastercraft Avenger's" on the car as we speak, lol.

I got mine for $200 and they are almost mint and came with the RE92's with about 85-90 % tread left. I had to drive 1.5 hrs to pick em up though.
I'd say pay no more then $250 even if they're mint because if you bide your time eventually you'll get a deal. Plus, you already have pretty nice wheels so it's no hurry. Just my .02.

Why do you think people sell the wheel/tire combo so cheap? A set of just wheels in the same condition would be 200 easily.

Yea it's really no rush. I've got good rims (7" wide, 15 pounds), but I don't want to buy new tires for the 15's and then have to replace them when I go 16's and WRX brakes.
WRX rims aren't in high demand. Supply is high, demand is low. You took economics (i'm sure).
As Matt always says, the WRX wheels look good on anything but a WRX. I should be having them pay me to take them away.

Indeed. . . those RE92s are quite shitty.

I got mine off of ebay and it was nearly 400 shipped and the rims were in pristine condition. The tires were used, with over half of the tread life left in them. I used to think that they were ok (and they are compared to my snow tires), but man they cried out bloody murder on my trip with subarujunkie and thawa up into the mountains.
RE-92's suck.

I just need tires that'll last me until I can afford a good set.
