Wondering what people have put on for mileage themselves in their car.
I've put 133k of the 241k on my Legacy and another 120k combined on my GL's and Z.

I've had my car for about 4yrs, and I didn't drive it for a 10 month period in that time. It had 125K on it then now I'm over 200K. The Suby has become the road-trip-mobile, numerous trips to MT and I've driven back and forth to CO about 10 times, to the ND/SD Badlands-Medora, SoCal. Any of these trips throwing 1000-6000 on in a few days-weeks. I love my car, it has had it's share of problems-but none when on these trips...It's like it knows.

My car had 125,525 miles on it when we drove it off the lot in Feb. of 2001 and last night when I parked it she was at 164,972 miles. The first 9 months or so I owned it only got driven like 3k miles.

I bought mine with 140k and now it has almost 179k. That is a little under two years. It has been about a year and a half I think. Wow...just about 40,000 miles in a year and a half. Crazy. I didn't realize it was that much in such a short amount of time.

Thread back from the dead. When I bought my Subaru I had to look at reviews to see if buying at over 200,000 miles was a good decision. I read this section of reviews and instantly made the call about the car:
http://www.edmunds.com/subaru/legacy/19 ... r-reviews/
Interested to see what everyone has on their cars 10 years later.
Bought mine with 202,000 and have drove it to 238,400 in 2 years.

My Legacy only had 168,000ish, about 50,000 or so from me in 7 years. In the 12 years I've been driving, I've never owned any car for more than 2 years except my Touring Wagon, and the Subaru's I've had are the only cars I've owned that never left me stranded or unexpectedly didn't start for work in the morning (not including stuff related to my EJ20G swap), to include a 2010 Charger we got with 24,000 miles on the clock (good riddance), and a few others far newer with far less miles than my Subies. The Subies have actually all been the both the highest-mileage and most-reliable vehicles I've owned.
