If not I assume you can use a wrx one but with a different upper and maybe lower hose

what are you basing that on?
I'm going to run sustained 1500 degree EGT's and do lots of autocross, rally, and some track days at watkins etc. My cooling system needs taken care of as much as anything else.

Even with mods. I never had any problems with overheating. And mine was modded considerably. Legacy777 backs it up with egt numbers, too!
I say you save that money you're gonna spend on a radiator and get an intercooler and/or turbo . . . or turboback exhaust.

Folks if you don't know where to find what I'm looking for that's fine...but please don't muddy up my thread.
Thanks!

I don't know of any turbo legacy specific racing radiators. I'm sure there are WRX ones out there or if you want, you could have one custom done.
Again....I still feel the cooling capacity is fine...especially since the turbo legacy radiator is a dual core radiator.
If you really want to look into something to handle your cooling needs, look into a better coolant. Something like NPG

I had forgot about NPG...thanks for refreshing my memory. Today I'm going to look at the radiators in my WRX and Legacy turbo next to each other and see if it makes sense to rig a WRX one to work or not. I'd love to avoid going custom on yet another component in this car.

It's worth pointing out that the stock Legacy Turbo radiator appears to have a thicker core (25mm) than the stock WRX radiator (22mm). I don't know if either is wider or taller than the other, though.

yeah.....in almost all cases the turbo legacy got beefier parts then the WRX....due to cost.......I would say you'd probably be able to find an application for a wrx aftermarket race radiator....over a t-legacy one....
