she let me use it to buy a goped that would cost 200. it came to 170 so i spent the rest on a sti windshield banner- the one i was bidding on at 1, which i beat some guy for. i also bought a subaru world rally t-shirt. im 17

So what is she mad at? the fact that you were awake on your computer at 1AM? or the fact that she only authorized you to buy the goped and u bought more even though it still came out to $200? Or both?

When I was 17 I had been working for 4 yrs and was thankful for food and a roof over my head.

I can understand her annoyance. She authorized a go-ped. Not a winshield banner and other shit.

She sucks because you misused her credit card?
You say you've worked since you were 13, but used your moms credit card to buy stuff? Why didn't you just pay for it yourself?
She gave you permission to buy a go-ped. Not $200 worth of stuff.

Your car would most likely be better off without the STi radiator cap and banner.
I'm not trying to be harsh, but, dude, grow up. Your mom did something you don't like, but you can't honestly argue that it was unreasonable. So it isn't fair to say she sucks. You can't blame your difficulty with debts on eBay on her; they're your responsibility, right?

I've been to Egypt (which nobody but me paid for) and people there don't have roofs on their houses.
I had a friend stay on my couch for a few months so he wasn't homeless.
I worked with a Cambodian guy who's mother had to dodge bullets to hang the laundry while carrying him as a baby. They came here and lived five to a room. They worked their asses off and own their own homes now.
I went to this Vietnamese guy's wife's funeral. To get out of there, he had to stow away in the hull of a tanker and rely on someone to feed him scraps. Two countries and several years later he finally made it to America. He's now a 40 yr. old widower with three young kids and just got laid off his $13/hr job. He was never given much of anything, yet never complains about it and told me through tears about how thankful he was to have had her while he could.
His dead wife had lost her six brothers and parents to starvation and the Khmer Rouge (those same bullets the other Cambodian guy's mother had to dodge). She got here from all the money the family could collect just so they could get one person out of the country alive - she was apparently agreed to be the smartest.
My grandfather was seized from his afther when his mother died as the state felt his father couldn't raise him alone. At 16 they were no longer responsible for him and kicked him onto the streets. He used to catch skunks for the pelts, turtles for restaraunts, lug 150 lbs blocks of ice and get up at 3AM to cut ice blocks from frozen lakes, sell bathtub beer, and whatever else he could to get by during the depression. Later he joined the Navy where his ship was torpedoed in the Pacific. He was one of the first ships in Tokyo Bay at the surrender. They still had to shoot Japanese ships that refused to lay down their arms for honor and because they had been told we would rape all their women. His wife of almost 60 yrs died last year and now my fat aunt uses him as an indentured servant to clean her house and watch her f'd up kids. He never complains.
I have more stories and there are millions out there. I suppose I shouldn't pick on you as I'm not sure there are many Americans born here in the last 50 yrs who aren't pussies crying about insignificant BS. I must confess to be one myself, but I'm trying, Ringo, I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

For real.
Yes, your Mom does suck, cause she gave you the card in the first place. You suck because your complaining about total adolecent shit, and you think you have an STI, because you got the rad cap.
STFU!

an STi actual part would help performance, this adds rice. My offer still stands, I'll trade you my L plus $2000 for your car

what does having an sti part have to do with putting an sti banner on your car?

Sweet! I've got STi exhaust hangers on my Legacy! Time to completely cover my glass areas with STi banners so big that I can't even see out of the car!!!
Lemme tell ya something TurboLegacy. Last week I cut myself so close as far as money was concerned that I was truly scared. Two weeks ago, I went on a crazy shopping spree buying shit I didn't even need with money I didn't have. When I went to cash my paycheck two Fridays ago, the bank told me my checking account was $240 in the hole and my check would just barely cover it. So I had to go through the next week with literally $27 to my name. I bought a couple cans of beans and Ramen noodles, and put $20 of gas in my car and didn't go anywhere except work. I felt like the biggest loser because I did that to myself. I picked up this paycheck, paid every bill I had, stocked the house up with food and even though I went to plenty of music shops and car hobby places this weekend, I didn't buy one single thing, because I remembered what happened the last time I did that. My grandfather told me later I should have asked him for money, but I told him I had to make it out of that myself to teach me a lesson. And I learned it well.
Your mom is just trying to teach you financial responsibility like a good parent. Learn it well from her or learn it yourself the hard way, like me.
