It's pissing me off...

Gas is $2.00+ a gallon............

Filling up twice a week...............

GAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Seriously, do we all get crappy gas mileage or is it just me?

That's one of the things I DON'T miss about my old car!

AWD, lots of toys, 2.2 liter turbo, 3200 lbs, and a relatively small tank that makes us have to pull over more often and accentuates it. It all adds up. Just think of what the small penises in the H2s get.

I need to get a job so I can get a 30mpg Elise or at least an '84 Subaru.

I blame my poor mileage on my lead foot than on the car itself :D

gas prices do suck however

I get 20-22 and that makes me happy, especially with some of my driving habits.

At least you're not driving a truck or SUV.

I dream of such "shitty" milage. Since I have the wagon on blocks while I rebuild the engine, I have to drive my van.

Econoline 350 + 460 ci + 5960 lbs = 9 mph, 10 if I do some freeway driving.

Turbo + AWD = shittier gas mileage. But these cars are so much more then most other cars so I don't mind. Besides I can still manage 400 km's to a tank with mixed driving, which is pretty good for the small fuel tanks these cars have.

Even when I drive like a little bitch it seems like the needle just falls so quickly. I guess the small tank makes sense in that department. I'm used to driving my CRX which got 30-40 MPG and didn't need premium. Heh.

am I the only one that thinks the tanks are actually kinda big? I'm used to like 10 gal tanks.

i think they're big too. guess it's just because i used to have a crx.

I'd get about 30mpg in the crx if i was good
about 25 mpg in the 91 L no matter how i drove
18-19 in the LE driving normally, it only drops about 1mpg if i drive like a maniac, so... i have fun

With my van, the 36 gallon van tanks costs me about $75 to fill up and go about 350 miles. Ouch!

My '84s would get 27 doing over 100 and 30 most of the time with my foot to the floor, ~35 if I drove like an old lady and the tank wasn't much smaller than the Legacy. I wonder how an EJ22 powered 2100 lb hardtop would do for mileage...

I'm down around the 16mpg range. No Highway driving for me around here. all city, all lead footed.

1$ / Liter for gas now too..

yesterday it was up to $2.369/gallon

a majority of my driving is 50-60 mph straight stretches to get from where i live to anywhere which is probably why i get such decent gas mileage.

I was toying around with a government site, and if i drive 20,000 miles in a year(which is my average) and keep paying $2.36/gallon, and get better gas mileage than I'm currently making(21mpg) I'll pay approximately $2256 every year for gas

My 95 got 30mpg on the highway to the beach. With an all time worst of 10mpg.

My 94 got upwards of 25 highway on the way home from CT I think.

Gas was $2.60 for Sunoco 94 octane in Northern Virginia.

It's under $2.00 a gallon for 93 around here.

Cruising in 6th on the highway, I'm sure I could get over 30mpg! However, my foot doesn't like good gas mileage:)

I filled up with $1.93 89-octane today, and calculated my gas mileage at an average of 23.4mpg (5MT, AWD) That's some of the best mileage my Legacy has ever gotten! :D

Of course, I've been a tad light-footed lately, purposely trying to conserve a bit...

I get almost 300 miles to a tank, but that's if i drive conservativly. Ill see if going back to the stock airbox with a k&n increases it.

I get about 330-360 before the gas light comes on with my NA. My gas milage usually sits between 30-32 mpg, I don't high rev it but I drive aggressively on the roads I know I can.

Ok I'm going to drive til the tank is empty and fill it up then record how many miles i get.

I get horrible gas mileage in town, ussally 16-18mpg, but on the highway I tend to get about 25mpg, which makes me really happy. I've gone 350 mile on a single tank of gas once, but that almost all highway driving, I tend to only get about 225-240 miles per tank driving in the city...

Do keep in mind guys, old spark plugs will kill your gas mileage, and I'm not saying the electrode has to be gone either. I changed my spark plugs last weekend (the old plugs were only about 8k miles old) and I tell no lie, my mileage has already gone up enough to almost cover the price of the plugs, the gas prices currently being as high as they are. I normally get about 200 miles on 3/4 tank, this last time I made it 220 miles.

my gas mileage sucks. i get 150-175 per tank. I do have lower gears though: 4.20 something, so the speedo is 7-10mph to high. Wait, this means it would be about 125-150 miles per tank. The O2 sensor is fine and i replaced the plugs last weekend. I am not getting a CEL. My camaro is getting about the same mpg. Any ideas?
