Okay, everyone compile their thoughts on this gripping subject matter into this thread
Although I don't see how you post-facelift people have any argument

I believe it was steve who said that one guy giroligo or whatever was the designer for both the prefacelift and the svx. but not for the post facelift. That's gotta say something for ya. Didn't he design lambo's or someshit?
plus pre-face dont look ugly

Also let it be known that I'm only talking about the front when I say preface looks good. I'd rather have the postface rear.

You mean Giugaro. His company is Italdesign, who is one of the world's best design companies. They penned everything from the VW Rabbit to the BMW Nazca C2. They did design the prefacelift BC/BF as well as the SVX, that is correct.
I will say this, the pictures on fullboost.com.au of the postfacelift white BC Turbo with the 17" overseas WRX wheels gives me a hard-on

. But ultimately, I like the prefacelift better. More aggressive-looking and sporty to me.

I like the prefacelift better, although with a good body kit, the post facelift can throw a mean argument.

Giugiaro. He only designed a few Lamborghini show cars along with a million others.
Here are some of my favorite highlights:
Alfa Romeo Giulia
VW Golf & Scirocco (originals)
Maserati Ghibli, Bora, Merak
Lotus Esprit
Gordon Keeble GT
DeTomaso Mangusta
Iso Grifo, Rivolta
Bizzarrini Strada GT
DeLorean
Lancia Delta
Fiat Dino
Subaru Legacy (pre-facelift)
Subaru SVX

Yeah, despite my dislike of VWs, I have to admit that I love the style of the round-light Scirocco. A lot of his designs have similar elements to it, like four round headlights set into a grille, but it's a detail I like. The Bizzarrini (beats-ar-reenee) is an odd one, though. It looks unbelievable in photos, but I think looks a little awkward in person - too long and low. I like the Iso Grifo better, which is a rebody of the same car. Incidentally, Giotto Bizzarrini was one of the top engineers behind the Ferrari 250 GTO. []drool[/]

Good to see there's no arguement from the other side

it's kind of like fighting a toddler... you may win... but did you really?
The post turbo package is a nice looking car. Makes other Legacy's look blah next to it. Seriously, my body shop guy was working on another '93 NA and he kept asking me what was wrong with it. He just couldn't believe they were the same car. The low-key spoiler and different front end (and WRX wheels) make a world of difference.
The kink under the rear quarter window is still a troublesome spot for me, though, on all the BC's. Doesn't quite flow with everything else.

Why bother, do I really need to? I know which better. Once I have a rear LSD and an oil cooler then it's really no contest on any level.....
Oh, and by the way, the '92 has the best ass too. +)

inbetween goes to pre-facelift, but I would have to say its funny that it's evenly split right now

It seems the only people that care are those pre-facelift people.
I voted post-facelift.

No, we just want to see how many aesthetically challenged people we share the board with.

Pre-facelift? post-facelift? What's the facelift on a Subaru?
I don't understand what this is about. I need enlightenment!

The pre-facelift has the terribly ugly and poorly functioning headlights, different front corner lights and different rear lights.
