Quad Cam??

Can anyone help me. I'm looking to buy a Legacy Turbo around a 92/93 and am not sure if all turbos are quad cam and had intercoolers. Also if anyone knows what i should look out for and what to run away from would be really good.

If it is a turbo, then yes as far as I know.

yeah, I think all the overseas legacies/liberties did. We were the black sheeps that got the larger engines.

Just like the V8 STi. We get stuck with the EJ25T while there is TONS of EJ20 aftermarket support overseas.

watch this space, we are getting the 2.5turbo liberty soon and we already have the 2.5turbo forester, there will be plenty of support for this engine.

Yep. All the special breeds of subarus are unique over here it seems, and then there are some we don't get: twin turbos and the like.

ah, so they do have less power, I was thinking that they were going to make about the same, or at least be closer in power than that. That isn't a bad amount of power, though.

Nah, they should be the 276hp as the V7.
