So i installed an EGT on my "Bazou" and now, i would like to know what readings i should expect. .

First, as i've posted in another post (turbo / cheap FCD) here's some pics of my setup

Second, tonight i went driving to test it a little bit. Temperature here is cold, about 15°C and i get 14psi of boost in 4rt and 5th.

Cruising at 120 km/h, i get 1380°F
Cruising at 130 km/h, i get 1400°F

WOT Acceleration in 4rt and 5th i get allllllmost to 1500°F , let say 1490°F.

Are those temps ok or am i over the critical limit ?

that is just fine. 1600F is when engine destruction begins, so try to keep here under 1550F. 1450-1500 is a good safe range. :)

I got a 1520 this morning during a 110-170km/h acceleration in 4th. 14psi ... i think it's time to build my IC ... ( i wanted to see what could be the max temp.. hehe )

Your specs of heat corresponds to what said another guy about that. 1600 is where engine destruction normally "starts", 1400-1500 is a normal safe range.
