ok, this seems kinda dum to ask, but i am at a stan still, can anyone that owns or has owned a 90 legacy please tell me where your ECU is located, because the Haynes manualis of no help to me, it say's that the ECM is on the passenger side up front, and ion my car it is deff. not there, there is a control unit in the trunk, but i am not sure, and if any have a scan of the wiring set up on it, i need to find the speed sensor wire that connects to it. any help would be usefull.

Haynes isn't correct. The unit in the trunk I believe we discovered was the seat belt controller. Your ecu is above your feet :). If you remove the large piece of plastic with the tray that says "tray" and look all the way to the driver-side about where the tray was you can see it. There's two 10mm bolts holding it to the chassis. You can also see it if you look above where the fuses are. It will have bright yellow connectors. It's not the shiny gold thing with the black connectors. Josh has a pic I'll see if I can find it.
