Ok, i went down to Portland Or to get the Car dyno'd before I started all the mods so I would have some Idea of how the car is progressing. 116,000 miles, and bone stock. If someone wants to host the pics, I have the dyno curves I could show.
Otherwise, max torque is 147 @ 3750 rpms and max power is 136@5500 rpms. This shows the usual 20% loss to the wheels. I also dyno'd a 2001 RS, and the non turbo engine was pretty close to showing the same curves, albeit it was lower by 15-20.

SO now, we go with a larger intake, intercooler, 3'' exhaust, boost controller, fuel cut defencer, and finally a td05-16g. All this should be finished piece by piece by next september. Then back to the dyno.

Kind of like marking your kids height on the wall and seeing the movement, I have the dyno for start, and after the mods part 1, I will hit it again.

Yup, my dyno run was at Matrix. Seems they have not had their Dyno very long.

Here are the pics and graph- sent to be hosted.

Cool - thanks for posting that up!

Thats pretty much the flat torque curve my butt dyno had sensed ;), although my car is NA.

Got to love these H4 engines.

Wow, that's a pretty flat torque curve!

Interesting that peak torque happened around 3750 rpm... The published specs are for peak torque to be reached around 2800 rpm, right?

Aren't published specs for at the flywheel though?

Would that make a difference?
