Hi, I was wondering what the best strut/spring combo is the best if I don't want to lower my car any.

Depends a lot on what you want to do with the car. . . and how you like to drive it.
Also, what are your feelings on ride quality?
And welcome to the board.

i don't really care that much about ride quality, but i don't want to be super stiff, and i still want to have good handling. Laurel how much do agxs cost. i dont mind spending around $500.

AGXs alone will run you in the $600 neighborhood from most sources.

I just got KYB GR2's and Whiteling Control springs. I haven't put the springs in yet, but that should be done on Saturday. The GR2's are super nice too, just non-adjustable. I had AGX's on my wife's old RS and I found that I never adjusted them

You can pick up GR2's for $257 shipped from the Tirerack. Whiteline Control springs are $240 shipped from PDM (make sure they have 'em in stock).

Hey eastbay did you get all four of everything because Tire Rack has the GR2's for the front for $70 apiece and $108 for the rear apiece.

Brian - How much do the Whiteline's drop you? I'm trying to choose between those and the S-Tech's for my suspension upgrade path. I had an incident today which proved to me just how soft the suspension in my car really is.
I'll probably get some GR2's, Tein S-Tech's or Whiteline Control's, and some Whiteline sway-bars and endlinks.

www.p-s-t.com has agx's for $469 plus shipping, the whiteline control springs will drop your car about 1.5 inches and take 17 weeks to come.

Or four days

Just call around to the various Whiteline distributors and see if they've got the springs in stock. The thing I like about the Whiteline's is that they were specifically made for our cars. All of the other springs seem to be designed for the Impreza
I had to call Tirerack to get the $257 price. I don't think they were different prices when I ordered them ~4 months ago. I'd just call them and see what's up.

BAC- im pretty sure that the s-techs are progressive springs. Good, but less hardcore (and isnt that what sedans are all about??) and they need a progressive strut.

Yea, but the Whitelines are $100 more than I can get the S-Tech's for...
I wonder if BC5 suspension bits will swap over....
