Fogs and tint on the Legacy, with subs too, way to go. Nice amp mounting.

Yea i realize there is a roxy sticker on our car. Its my girlfriend/fiance's daily driver :-) So nothing to worry about

How? I would say the suby is more rice then the eclipse. The suby has exhaust and modded intake, fog lights and tint. How much more rice could i get <aside from a type R sticker>
The eclipse is stock except for rims, lowering/performance springs and shocks. Doesnt even have an exhaust.

Well ironicaly enough, they both have eclipse heads. I wanted her to get an eclipse sticker for the back window but she liked the roxy.

Oh yea, forgot about the body kit. That all came with the car when we bought it. Unfortunatly the stereo was all that we could do without voiding the warenty. I'll get some pics of the jag & Navi up today!!!

The 3g isn't really my bag, but I dig the Legacy.

Did you know... Lowering your car actually hurts handling performance? It lowers the center of gravity, but increases the roll-moment, which creates more body roll. A stiff enough spring will counter this, but at the cost of poor bump absorbtion and decreased comfort, there is more to good handling than just a set of lowering springs and some AGX's. "The more you know"

The good thing about Subarus also is that the low CG given by the engine allows a more practical ground clearance while maintaining good handling.

But the fender gap can be hideous.

kastrix - the fender gap may be ugly, but here in the land of Afghanistan road-to-Kabul look-alike roads and snow the ground clearance is welcome. I was just trying to make a point about how most cars need to be lowered. That said I'd like to get mine down a half inch or so in the front.

I think that's why I love the Suby so much, and why I'd still take an STi over the new EVO MR.

The top of our manifold is about level with the headgasket of a similarly sized car (with similar ride height) with an I4.

Stock height is perfect for me. I wish I could MAYBE get it down .5" and a lot stiffer.

Ideally, I'd like to get it down about an inch, and get some roll-center adjusters so I can design my suspension correctly rather than just bandaid bad suspension geometry with stiff springs and huge sway bars.

I have always dreamed of driving a reasonably practical car that handles like a Koenigsegg Super Egg. It'll scrub sideways before it'll roll the body, but it feels just fine on a bumpy road. It's got a roll moment of zero when the suspension is bottomed out (not much travel). That brings the roll moment to BARELY above zero at stock height, which translates to almost NO body-roll without sacrificing MUCH ride quality.

Except if you had such little travel, larger obstacles would still be jarring.
