I think It's like 30$ to race or 10$ to get in.It's a 1/4 mile drag.
Hopefully I'll at least have my exhaust and tmic on by then so I can turn up the boost and try to toast some rex's

That's just plain too far away for me for a special drag strip night. Looks to be about 3-4 hours from where I live.
Hopefully the next time I'm on my way to NY or NJ I can stop by. We'll go out and toast a bunch of cars that won't know what hit 'em! I should have AWIC and full exhaust by then.

Matt, thanks for posting the info!
I MUST STRESS, this is NOT just for WRXs. Every Subaru ever sold is welcome and encouraged to come to this. This is an All-Subaru day held at a dragstrip. Spectators get in for free and the opportunities to talk to some of the country's best tuners and vendors are endless.
Having been a Legacy Turbo owner from wayyyyy back, I would absolutely love to see a bunch of you guys make it out to this. Get enough Legacy Turbos there and maybe we'll make a Legacy turbo class for the racers
There are guys caravaning from Chicago, GA, VA, OH, NY, NJ, MD, DE, and just about anywhere else within a days driving distance. Not making any promises on how big this will be, but last year(the first year) we had over 50 Subes and that was when hardly anyone knew about it! If you can, you should definitely be there.
Hope the Legacy Turbo guys can make it out.

That would be me
In all honesty, I wish I still had my Legacy, especially now with the loads of WRX parts floating around. But with our son on the way, I felt my wife should be in a new car so I bit the bullet and bought a WRX wagon and I kept my daily driver, a 1.8 Impreza( aka-very good gas mileage).
Then a year ago I had a chance to sell the Impreza and buy a 93 Legacy SS 5spd since both of us missed the Legacy Turbo big time. So I bought that and had it a few months but came to the obvious realization that owning a WRX(which got any spare "mod" money that I had) and missing 30+ mpg every day left no room for the Legacy Turbo. And, my buddy just sold his WRX to move back in the area and needed a car, so he has it now and absolutely loves it. So at least I get to see it a few days a week

Now I drive a 93 Legacy LS sedan which serves the purpose as family hauler now and again and a work car pretty good.
Although the parts mngr has a black 91 auto Legacy SS for sale
I'm still an absolutely huge fan of the Legacy Turbos. Since they were Subaru/Prodrive's first WRC car, they'll always be pretty special to me(even though ours weren't exactly Legacy RS's) .
Anyways,I hope to hell there are some Legacy Turbos at the Shootout just so I can check them out!
