No, that really does suck. I thought my digi camera was toast after STPR because it got a little wet and wouldn't turn on but I put in new batteries and then it worked thankfully. Speaking of which, I need to post up those pics...

Yep. dropped er good, then the zoom wouldn't work, then I took out the mini screwdriver set

Fixed it in the short run. but one minor tweek severed a mini ribbon cable, thus fucking it completely, and since I already voided the warranty I went out and bought the model 1 step up from it..

Ironically It dropped during a timer picture that I was gonna take specifically for this site...

damn.. that sucks.. I've had a few digi cams in my day, and... wow.. you opened it up?? brave. i like taking things apart and fixing it myself just to feel like MyGuyver or something, but i learned my lesson... get the warranty, and then do something stupid... use it when you need it.. eh.. i'm not gonna tell you how to live your life...

my digicam fell off my car onto pavement at about 20mph. The batteries and memory stick fell out. it still works
