How many miles on the highway do you usualy get per tank. If you'd care to comment on the octane you've found works best

I pulled 405 miles yesterday on one tank :-)
Using 91 octane.

I thought that was pretty good

I get around 280/tank using 87. That translates to about 28 mpg, I average 25 if I beat on it or travel over 100. I've never run the tank dry, but my tank seems to be just over 11 gallons. I always seem to fill it when I'm down by 10.

I usually get 300 miles almost on the dot before the reserve light comes on. I generally use 93 octane fuel from Sunoco or Mobil.

I used to get about 200-250 depending on how low I let it get.

I get right around 300-325 using 89 octane as a rule(if I cut it close). I drive a fairly consistent mix of highway and city as well.
Also, I'm not shy about putting my foot in it.
I've never, ever had my fuel light come on. I used to think it was broken (spent numerous nerve wracking miles trying to see if I could get the damn light to flick on btw), but several people have reported the same findings.
I'm guessing I (literally) have to be on the very, very edge of being ready to putter to a stop (from running out of gas) before the light comes on :?
Makes it kinda useless IMHO.

I have a 92 Legacy turbo with EJ20G engine on it but still using the US ECU.
I ususlly got 325km per tank if in High Way all the time, I did 450.

DO those have smaller gas tanks. Because that would only be about 200 miles per tank right?

If it is an only highway tank then I pull close to 400 hundred and fill up, but I find that I have a couple gallons left (a little over 3). So I should be able to pull 400 no problem.

If it is a city/highway split then I usually get about 22-24 mpg so I get closer to 300 miles with the same amount of gas leftover.

Full freeway tanks I pull about 28 mpg.

sunoco 94 gold (number 1 byer right hear), it takes 40 dollers to fill and all most 90k to empty, well at least my legacy wont run lean.

whoops, i checked off 400+ thinking kms and you guys were getting horrible mileage...

On the highway i can pull off 350+ miles on a tank and that's if i stay at or below 120km/h, any higher and that number starts dropping fast

With my usual lead foot driving style i end up getting about 250miles in average driving

I was filling up at every stop we made on the way to the Dragon, just to be sure I spent enough on gas and not on other crap , but I could have easily gone 400 miles to a tank with the 34mpg my car was getting on the highway :D

I do mostly highway driving (commute) Getting 28-29 mpg which is pretty darn good for a 14 year old car with 4wd and 138,000mi on it!
