I was bored today, so I compiled every single picture I've ever taken of my car, at least the ones I can account for.
I still have the very first picture I ever took of it, all the way up to the ones I just took this past Monday when I washed and waxed it after the bumper installation...
I count 179 pictures...
Oh yeah, I still have the ones on my friend's camera that he hasn't developed yet, I begged him to let me use it because the "pose" it was in was so perfect and photogenic...
And look at me, I'm posting on a forum completely dedicated to such cars. This can't be healthy. It's like Domino's Dots. They're
soooo good that they CAN'T be good for you

...
Is there a cure for this guys? Well, I guess I'm asking a group infected with the same disease

I only have about two dozen pics, but I'm trying to get the first of two novels with my wagon in it (though with a turbo) published. At one point the main character compares it to an M5 and declares that his car has more soul. Does that count?

There's nothing wrong with that...
When I had my "senior pictures" taken for high school I had my traditional "Tux" picture, then I had 4 different poses with my car and ordered a bunch of 8X10's, 5X7's and wallets with all the different poses of me with my car.
Sometimes it gets so bad (or good) I park near the window at a restaurant so I can look out the window at my car while i'm eating!
These cars are very pleasing to the eye!

LMAO!!! You too, ehh??? Steak n Shake knows where I park and where I sit
In my yearbook, we had a page dedicated to each senior from their respective parents (I went to a private HS, so don't think there were 600 pages in the yearbook for seniors, more like
8
) My page had a baby picture, a 6th grade picture, and a picture in my neighborhood standing in fron of my freshly-detailed car!
And would you believe everyone at high school said my car had no style whatsoever???? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Oh, by the way, make that 186 pics

With the last fifteen girls I went out with (one date only. I feel like the music ended and I'm the only a$$ left standing with the heffers and those with the personalities of a Camry) I made the mistake of sitting near the window where I parked my car. I looked at her the whole time (the car, Duchess aka Electric Barbarella) and only wanted to be driving instead. If I could only find an available woman that had half the character, trustworthyness, and common personality traits, but with at least equal looks (she's attractive, but no XKSS), I'd marry her that day.
I was pissed when they wouldn't take a picture of me in high school for Most Creative or whatever award in front of my '84 GL wagon. I'll need to post pictures of this car sometime.
Everyone knew that car and only the cops didn't love it. A bigger heart than most people I've met - may she rest in peace. Here's to finding a cure for automotive cancer.

I couldn't have said it better myself, although I'd hafta swap the XKSS for a Ferrari F50

. Although me and my Patti (that's her name

) have had quite violent disagreements, we ALWAYS settle our differences, and she always gets me home. No girl I have ever met has been that trustworthy or reliable.
It has always been so funny to me how a 91 Camry 4cyl 5spd would be pretty much exactly what I have now in terms of performance, weight, mileage, etc. But a Camry is so lackluster and boring. Yet my car has something about it that made me fall in love with it. Not immediately mind you, but it did.
I don't think I'll ever find a car that is so functional and has such a personality,
yet it is a personality appreciated by a select few. Most write it off as another boring sedan/wagon. Little do they know...
Oh yeah, I had to take pictures for a eBay auction today with a disposable, and I had plenty of film left to waste...
I now have over
200 pictures of my car

I went and did it now...
At 12:30 AM, I left my house to go 20 miles away to my college, University of Central Florida, to take pictures of my car in the empty parking garage... I filled up one more disposable camera on my car... didn't get home till past 2 AM...
I just felt like doing it all of a sudden...
At least I got gas from the cheap side of town and I thoroughly enjoyed the drive...
So chalk up about 27 more pictures for me

"It all started when I was a young boy of 10; my father refused to buy me the Matchbox car in Wal-Mart..."
Oh sorry, thought this was a psychiatrist's office...
