Yes!
FINALLY got the intercooler installed, MBC installed, FCD installed. Man, this is the HOTNESS!
Infinite thanks goes to Matt for install help and Vikash for parts
I'm running about 12psi right now, and even more next week when I get my exhaust.
I'm so stoked. I'm running the all aluminum setup right now, and I've got the 10 channel to swap in if I feel the need.
The only downside to the more boost that I noticed is that I'm no where near as loud as Matt is. In his car, you can hear the turbo spool REAL well, and you can hear the DV SUPER loud. In my car, I can only sort of hear the turbo and I can't really hear the DV to much. I don't know if it's because my DV is upside down, or what. I'll correct it tomorrow when I go to pep-boys to get some vacuum hose to fix it.
I'm so stoked. At first, it didn't feel much faster, but then I paid some close attention and it pulls a lot harder now

. I don't want to get on it TO much with the stock exhaust though. Come next week though, everything is fair game.
The sideways pistons go WOOOO!

Awsome!!! I'm waiting for my AWIC and then I'll be scouting out some parts and seeing about getting that hooked up. I'll have a little fabricating to do than you probably did, but I hope to be intercooled and boosted up soon.

I just got back from a drive, and I don't know WHY I didn't hear the DV before with Matt in the car, but it's LOUD now. It even flutters, which is super sweet
Only downside is the all aluminum Intercooler rattles against the firewall (likely aided by the Group N mounts). It's kind of annoying, but I'll deal. It only rattles at WOT, at partial throttle, it seems fine.
But it spools wicked loud, and the DV is loud too.
Oh, and if some of you remember the rattle I was speaking of, my Chimney was only held in with 2 bolts, and not very tightly. Chimney is now removed

Couldn't you just put some rubber sheeting between the firewall and intercooler to fix the rubbing. Neoprene might be good.

I'll look into something like that. Matt had some Dynamat between his firewall and IC, and he said it only lasted like 3 days. I might pull the IC and spray that area with some spray-on-bedliner. Just to absorb some of the vibration.

Sounds good!!! Get a WAV so we can really hear it:)
On your DV/BOV or whatever you want to call it, which way does the arrow point? Mine points to the TB. I'm not sure the arrow means intake airflow direction or plump back direction??

It should point back towards the intake...
Phil's car is definitely pimpin' now. It pulls much harder and sounds very good, even with the rattle from the ic hitting the firewall. It's a nice clean install on all accounts.

intake manifold or intake airbox?

The arrow points towards the airbox.
My car is awesome now. Tinted, Fast, Furious, and soon it's going to be very loud. To bad it STILL doesn't idle correctly, and it fuel cuts like a son of a bitch.
It's coming around though, hopefully I can get the IAC fixed by next month when I hit they Dyno at a MachV Motorsports Dynoday. I'd like to show up a WRX or two...

congratulations! Can't wait to get my saab 'cooler, BOV, MBC, and hoodscoop installed... should begin this weekend. This Sat night at the Speed World drag strip a bunch of my old Saturn buds are going out to race, I'm bringing along the Scooby for her first 1/4 mile run to see how she does. At least I want to have my boost turned up a pound or two by then, I doubt the I/C will be in before the race. Anyway.... I would love to see some photos when you have half a chance too, I will be sure to take a few while working on mine.
