well my car is being really weird latley its been lossing gas milage. first off it was around 30+ but now its creaped its way down to 20 or lower. i dont get it. what can be the cause of this problem?? Would u think its because of the high octane gas? i use 91 for an n/a. it runs smooth but the exhaust sounds diffrent with it too. so maybe if i go back to 89? oh well thx for your help

Do you have your A/C or defrosters on?

Sorry...
I had mine drop about 5 this summer when gas jumped up. Its stayed that way tho so i dunno what happened, no change in brand or octane. Maybe your gas is getting watered down

How long did it take to creep down there?
Maybe your car's just asking you for an ignition tuneup

.
If not, then maybe something else needs replacement. A clogged air filter certainly affects mileage. A tired-out oxygen sensor can, too.
It's probably a combination of things, because 30 down to 20 is a very big change. But I'd start with those things. And a nice Sea Foam treatment couldn't hurt.
91 seems high for an NA. 89 or 87 would probably be better... I seem to recall a consensus between a few NA owners that 89 seemed best for their cars.
