Poor XT

I took my family to the figure 8 races at the county fair tonight and one of the cars (there was 100 cars!) was a XT. I was sad to see it in the race but started cheering for it. Well it didn't even complete one lap before it was knocked out.

It didn't even get hit hard either which was especially disheartening. It was a pretty exciting time, I'm actually thinking about trying to build a racer for next year.

I want to do the Grassroots Motorsports $2005 Challenge, but have no money and no place to build. There are some pretty damn cool creations people come up with.

I bet. That would be pretty fun.
I need a 4 bay garage and lift. Hell throw a 5th bay w/ pit in there too for good measure. I will have one of the most bad ass garages someday, mark my words.

My plan is a 10-car garage (5 x 2) with bay doors disguised by architectural features with a studio upstairs as my house. I also want see-through panels in the living area floor to bring natural light from the roof skylights to the garage area. Unfortunately I think I'll have to sell a screenplay or three to afford that.

My plan, since we're all going into it, 4 bay, one regular, one pit, two lifts. Drains under each bay leading to a large sump for easy clean up

Similar to Steve. 10 car, 5x2, with 2 lifts, and a FULL wall of tools.
House on top of the garage.

The lifts go without saying. At the very least, they'll be needed to fit more cars! I'd also like a shed for a wood shop.

Matt, you shoulda made the title "Poor XT (subyluvr don't read this!)"
Steve, you bring up the GRM Challenge, there actually was an XT in the 04 one

. It didn't perform great (slowest 1/4 time) but it kept up with the Rustang in the slalom and actually was the cheapest project (car was free

).

I read that. Did you go there in person?
Sorry to further distance the topic ...
