is it true you can plug a laptop into a legacy for diagnose purposes if so what do i need and where do i get it.also where in the car would you find the connection.

just need to get mine running right owned it two months now and never felt full boost.

I don't know if it will be useful on non-North-American Legacies, but take a look at the first sticky thread in the Electrical forum to read about the scantool.

I've owned the car for 6 months and it has never run 100% correct. I was close for about 2 days, and then I broke my coolant tank.
Once I get it working again, I'll be gold
I have NEVER had the car working correctly and felt stock boost.

That's what gives them so much character.
I don't think I have had a passenger that DIDN'T complain about something (seatbelts, not wanitng to start, HVAC unit on the fritz, too noisy, too fast

).
I'm working on getting some of the more annoying bugs shaken out before I do anything too drastic to mine, though.

ok thanks guys going to give it a go.i need to get my car running right as the subaru following in this country is huge and i see loads of subarus going out every weeekend together and i have to just watch them go by.
bac5.2 you said about iac problems what was it with yours and how did you solve it.
