$150 cdn...how much is that in us dollar? I would jump at it. Even if you can't use the trans it would be fun to beat the car for a couple of days.

I don' t go spending 150 [about 100 bucks] just to throw a car around

I'd rather use that for gas or weed.
Anyways, talked to the guy it has a new clutch in it , which is nice. and the engine is strong.
Best part : i have permission from the wife.

Yes it will fit, get as many 5mt related parts as you can from the donr car, axles pedals, clutch cable, mounts, etc..

i'm getting the whole car.. the plan will be to rip as much as possible then get rid of the chassis.
so when i get it, i'll make a shopping list and go nuts.. LOTS OF PICS

true indeed!
I'm acquiring a 92 sedan as a parts car, as well. I'm gonna try a body swap on it... like the 92 look better. If you need 92 sedan parts let me know, particularly the interior parts and engine stuff...

friend of mine has concerns about the clutch from this car not taking the torque a turbo produces.. any input to the contrary ?

you never actually said the the car is a turbo or not. That'd be your biggest concern.

the n/a tranny holds but just... if I up my boost at all the clutch lets go in 3rd, 4th and 5th at max boost

if you want a 5spd look for a turbo and save yourself the frustration of having to upgrade the clutch right after.

actualy for 150$ that's the cost of a pedal assembly, master cylinder, rear end and a whole pile of other parts.. i think i'll just upgrade my clutch right away..
it would need it anyways once i start putting 280hp ish to it.
