Those of you running a TD05H-16G on your EJ22T...

..could you post some pics of the intake track? I'd really like to see the compressor inlet and outlet plumbing. Any suggestions on the install would be cool too. I already have my coolant lines taken care of though so no worries there. :)

The compressor inlet setup should be the same as the stock turbo... the elbow is part of the compressor housing as opposed to just being bolted on, but it comes up at the same vertical angle and I'm pretty sure it has the same outer diameter.

The compressor outlet points more horizontally than the stock one. Instead of being pointed up at a 45-degree angle, it's pointed just slightly above the horizontal. You hacked up your stock compressor-to-throttle tube to plumb in your Saab intercooler, right? You'll probably have to figure something out to replace that, or you might just be able to take advantage of the play in the whole hacked tube / rubber coupling / steel pipe / other rubber coupling assembly.

Hey Vikash! How are things?

Yep, I know the inlet isn't going to a problem it's the outlet I'm more interested in seeing pictures of. It may work out that the stock piece will work but I doubt it. I think the outlet may be slightly larger on the 16G too.

Things are good... Busy, but good. Thanks for asking. :)

Yeah, you probably won't be able to use the stock piece. But a little elbow made of some type of radiator hose or something ought to do the trick. You basically just need a ~45-degree bend to go from the compressor outlet to the steel pipe inlet, right?

Ya, but the size is going to change too. The pipe is 2" ID and the compressor outlet is like 1.5" OD or something.

But rubber hose is compliant and stretchy. :)

Hehe, ya. I measured the oulet and it's like 1 7/8" OD so it won't be too bad. I just need to find a hose with the right bend in it. Do you know what's on your 91?

The boostjunkie Legacy has a weird combination of the stock intercooler inlet hose and some pieces of Samco hose... But the intercooler and turbo that are on that car were meant to work together; as far as I know they both came off the same car.
