I've seen a 12-sec one years ago. Neat cars.

That's what's cool about them. Those and the K-cars with turbo transplants.

My friend in highschool had a 79 monza....I thought it was ugly. He gave me a ride home one day, to my surprise it have a hardcore 383 in it. Lets just say I had major pucker factor. I never called it ugly again. -the end-

We had an asshat guy back when I used to go racing who had a low-12 Grand National. He was finally smoked by a guy with a bucket late-'70's Chevy with shit tires, but a cage. Turns out the thing could run 10's. The guy never came back and my guess is he was one of the regular's friends. Here's to the sleeper [Abby beer in air].

Talking turbo Mopar and sleeper in the same sentence recalls the 89-90-ish mini vans with pretty much the same 2.5L engine as the turbocharged GLH. A few mods and you can easily surprise a Mustang.
...in a minivan.

I wonder how many are still on the road.

I've only seen one that I know of. Iit was back in the early nineties when I was working at the grocery store pushing carriages. A friend of mine told me he found a minivan with a manual transmission so we checked it out and it was the turbo. The guy had taken the seats out, but it may've been just for carrying junk, I don't know.
