T-Bird Hybrid / Rebuilt Turbo installed! Break-in period?

Whats shakin?
Late last night I finally got my t-bird hybrid turbo done, and did a rebuild in the process. The car lives again! Boot B is under more stress than its ever been due to limitations on the stock inlet's clock angle, I may have to spring for a new $95 dealer item if I can't find a suitable aftermarket replacement, or hell even just a bend with the same diameters - I'll put the fittings on my coffee mug.
Anyway, I turned the boost all the way down to wastegate level for the turbo break-in. Then I got to thinking to myself, "Self, this IHI turbo don't have no seals!" and then that led to, "Does it need a break-in period at all, then?" and so far I've decided on a compromise 200km break-in period.
So... do we have to break in our turbos after a rebuid or not?
Turbo sounds very happy, I've kept it mostly off boost. Can't wait to use it.
