Volk CE28N?

I decided im definately going to get rid of the prodrive speedline 7 rims after today. You know its bad when a small chevy pickup is pulling away from you. Probably doesnt help that i dont have a third or fourth gear either but the amount of acceleration neutralized by the 20 lb prodrive rims makes an extremely amazing diff to me, with the stock rims and not having third or fourth gear i would have pulled away from him with ease. I'm now considering the Volk CE28N rims maybe in 15's even tho i really like the look of the 17" prodrive rims on my car. The volk rims are said to weigh about 8.6 lbs for the 15's which is a huge improvement even over stock. Has anybody heard anything good or bad about these rims?

They are nice, but fragile.
I've got a set of 15x7" rims that only weigh 15 pounds that I'll sell you for real cheap. That's wide enough to stuff a 225 on.
Or, get a set of Rota SDR's. 17x7.5" and 17 or 18lbs.

15x7, 15lbs, 45mm offset. Puts the wheels level with the fenders and has PLENTY of clearance for a 225 width tire.
On 17x7.5" Volk Gram Lights in +48, I was almost rubbing with 225/45/17 Falken Azenis. You could clear the widest of 225's with that offset and that rim size.

Check what offset the wheels are and ask us. Also check the width, and make sure you check the bolt pattern. Suby's are 5x100.
