I'm planning on attending too. I might take my '91 if it can be made to pass entry rules although I doubt it. If it's not going to happen then I'll take my loud '93 NA :( . So I guess that means I'll be taking my NA.

I'll check on that for you Scott.

Ok, but keep in mind the axle is bad and the car vibrates like hell at speeds over 80 mph.

My presence at the meet is getting to be pretty doubtful. My whole situation has me pretty down in the dumps so I don't know if I'll be attending since I can't have my F*%$ed up turbo there. I'm not even sure if I'll be putting the engine in now. Screw it, I'm sooooo sick of dealing with this stuff! Why can't anything not be a complete bitch.

Oh, come on, Scott! Even if you don't want to bring the turbo, just bring the NA. There's a separate class for 'em anyway. If you're feeling down in the dumps then the best thing to do is try to cheer up, not to wallow in it!

Please? I want to meet you.

I've got to admit, you're right. Wallowing in bitchdom is bad. I'll be there, pleased or not. I think my blood sugar might be low. I haven't eaten today so I'll go grab a pop-tart and see it makes me smile...

Great; I'm glad you changed your mind. :D

Try grabbing some fruit... in my experience natural sugars seem to do the best when I feel like my blood sugar is low.

You can always blow the doors off my 8.0 CR wagon. I felt the same way when I was swapping the engines and the oil and antifreeze spilled all over my floor when the engine tipped. I feel much better now.

Is there going to be time to replace an axle??? Cuz it looks like I'll be doing that now. Matt, where did you get your axle?

I got my axles at Advanced Auto but they had to order them. Not to be a pesemist but I kinda doubt you will have time to get one this late in the game unless one of the local Suby dealers has one in stock and then you'll pay too much. It's too bad it came down to the wire on your car like this because it would have been nice to replace it. You might get lucky though and find one in stock locally at A&A or Advanced. Mine took 3 days to arrive from an Advanced store that had them in stock in NY. I'd just call one Advanced Auto store locally and have them check all the local stores to see if they have one in stock. Have them check Lewisburg too because it'd be worth the 20 minute drive to go down there and get it.

There should be enough time to change an axle provided nothing's too seized-up. Steve's bringing his impact wrench so maybe that'll help some. :)

The only "special" tools we'd need are a 32mm socket for the axle nut and an appropriately sized drift or punch to get the spring pins in and out and to stake and unstake the axle nut.

Tomorrow on my way to Williamsport I'm going to be driving past two different Advance Auto Partses (one in Ithaca and one in Horseheads) and also passing within 15 miles or so of a third (in Elmira). According to the Advance Auto Parts web site, all three have the axle in stock. It's remanufactured by CCT, has a lifetime replacement warranty, and costs $59.99 plus a $50 core, plus tax. I believe CCT also includes new axle nuts and spring pins with their axles. If you'd like me to pick one up for you on my way tomorrow, let me know. I figure chances are slim that all three stores will be out of them tomorrow if they all have them today.

Yeah, this is gonna be a huge collection of Legacy Turbos. Is there a record yet for the largest collection of Legacy Turbos in one place in North America? I remember being excited about having three that day Matt and I went over to Phil's.

Sounds like this time it'll be at least five: Matt's, Phil's, Ben's, Scott's, and mine (I'm assuming Scott's talking about replacing the axle on the turbo).

They have the axles at Advance. I'm picking one up tonight. Hopefully, it's only one that's bad.

Oh, cool, I didn't realize HomeSlice's car had an EJ22T.

Awesome. Awesome to the max.
