Boost Gauge problems

I just installed my spw boost gauge and the stupid thing reads zero up until full boost, then it just bounces around. I'm sure its getting air at all times cause i stuck the tube in my mouth and drove around for a moment, although the air pushed into my mouth was cool and unsteady like little puffs up until full boost. Any Ideas?

Kinked hard vacuum line. Replace it, and run it through some soft-line to keep it protected.

Yeah, Phil's probably right. It's either a kink or a leak, or both, but it sounds more like a kink.
You probably shouldn't stick that tube in your mouth. While it's mostly air, there's also a little bit of fuel and oil and other crap mixed in.

lol. I found out what was wrong i guess, I just moved the gauge over one hose, so instead of being on the wastegate, it was before the wastegate, I see about 9 lbs of boost in first and about 10 from there up to about 11 in fifth gear. What can be used to tap the manifold?

I don't understand where you had it tapped or where you have it tapped now.
Most people tap it at the nipple on the front passenger side intake runner:

I had it tapped on the wastegate before but now i tapped it on the runner

You mean you tapped it on the hose going to the wastegate actuator?
No wonder your signal was all screwed up

. The ECU messes with the pressure signal to the wastegate actuator to improve boost behavior.
If you want to know compressor outlet pressure, tap it at the nipple coming off the compressor housing. That runner is a good place to measure manifold pressure.
