Nice!
So, steve has a 90, Creel has a 91 (was that his car?), Matt has the 92, Vikash with the 93 and phil with a 94??
If those all are representative of the first gen legacies, that really rocks.

That's funny how EVERYONE's sunroof is open
Too bad you guys couldn't run the race. I'm really curious how fast Matt's car will be in the quarter mile.

taht is funny, but why does steve's look like it super high? Actually it looks like it's manual?

Every meet I've been to this month, EVERY car had a hood scoop.
Steve was the odd man out at this one, being the only N/A and the only smooth-hood. But he's got a turbo block at 8:1 compression running N/A, and got plans that should make people quake in their boots.

Holy crap, someone noticed the sunroof thing. That was Vikash's Idea I think.
Steve = 90
Scott = 91
Matt = 92
Vikash = 93
Phil = 94
What's weird is that the car's year, mileage and age (for Scott, Matt, Vikash, and myself) is all similar to our ages. Scott is the oldest with the highest miles and the oldest turbo, etc.
Steve's roof is an aftermarket deal.

How is it that all these east coast cars' paint looks beautiful, compared to my 91 which is been in CA all it's life.
Wheeeeeere has my clearcoat gone....

You can't see my car up close... my clear coat's peeling in a lot of areas.
I think the sunroof idea was Matt's. 'Twasn't mine.
Yeah, we all thought it was really cool that we were representing every year, and no two were the same color either.

Actually, the sunroof idea was mine.

didnt that answer your question? If it spent most of its life in one of the hotter regions and noone took care of the paint, that should be all it needed to start bubling or peeling or whatever.

The pictures make the paint look better. Mine was filthy after a 6-hr drive through the rain, but looks really clean there. I was the only one reprezentin' the wagons, yo. I was able to keep up in the unfamiliar turns, but felt like I was holding anyone who was behind me (Matt, but I think a Porsche could've held him up) up on the straights.
No '90s had hoodscoop anyway, so it's a good representation of the years.

Yeah, the pictures definitely don't reflect the true condition of the cars. My car's paint is pretty sick. The bumper is peeling and it has dulled to a light black instead a true black. The camera is usually pretty forgiving when it comes to shots taken in sunlight. If you were to put those cars under a studio type lighting condition the errors would show through.

Hehehe... look at all those tiny Saab intercoolers.
I can't decide how I feel about how much homogeneity there was. Three of the four Legacy Turbos had Saab intercoolers and FCDs I made. Two had MBCs I made. Two had CES exhausts.
I guess there was plenty of variety in how each was executed though.

You should be proud. I know I would be positively beaming if my hardware found its way into people's cars.

I am.
Thank you.

I don't think the homogeneity was a problem. We were just going with what works.
If it makes you feel better, I won't be sticking with the SAAB TMIC for very much longer...

Well, the 2 CES systems weren't the same, one was a 'street' system and the other was a 'semi-race' system. There were 2 different Saab 900 IC's present as well. And while 3 of the 4 Legacy SS's had the same turbo one definitely did not!

Hehe
Like Phil, I don't forsee myself using the Saab unit much longer. Hell, what am I talking about though, there's a chance that Subarina may soon become parted out and sold in pieces if I can't get her fixed. I need transportation bad.

if you didnt know any better and looked at your guys cars you'd think only 92-94 came with intercoolers

And the different IC's being model year differences (mine being all aluminum).
The 2 different CES systems aren't even very different. Both are catless, it's just the axle back that's different. Bling vs. Stealth.
Matt, you CAN'T part it out! PLEASE Don't! Who am I going to compete with if you do?
