Other than the owner of a certain blue wagon, anyone else pick up a ticket?

I stayed clean, but did eat the inside of my right fender well at about 100mph. Scared the crap out of me.

I ate the inner liner of the fender well. I was getting on it on a little straightaway and was somewhere between 100-110 when the fender well liner sucked down onto the road, caught under the front tire and then ripped off. All in about .002 seconds. Scared the crapp out of me. I looked back and the damn thing was 5 feet in the air. I at first thought I had ran over a semi blow out. But since I kept driving with no problems, ie did not wreck immedietly, I guessed at what might have happened, and kept going. When I got home I confirmed the guess.

At least now I have NO problems with my CAI for the SC.

So, Laurel is silver, not blue?

I'm guessing some plastic "came off" at speed and got whacked by the tire. :P

I heard Gardner got a ticket as well. I managed not to get one, even tho I was following a couple riced Hondas well over 100mph, and a WRX up to 110. Made it from Hood River Oregon to Sacramento in 9 hours.

Laurel's ticket happened right in front of me. Saw it all happening and couldn't do anything. Sucked.

Douglas, your car is sweet man. Points for ingenuity and simplicity.

It was good to meet everyone. Sorry for ditching early, I went to eat dinner in portland with an old college friend. She forced alcohol down my throat and was pretty much tied up from then on.

Any girl that loves sapphire and tonics and Overfiend is a keeper. Portland is far though.

Girls that try and bribe judges with boobs are pretty cool too, heh.

Anyways, cars.

It was good meeting you Alan :) Nice miata btw.

I managed to avoid all tickets, but im suprised. There must have not been any cops on HWY 97. I drove from Mt.Hood to Bend at around 70mph to avoid any confrontations with Oregons Patrolmen. Then when I got into California I punched the Cruise up to 80.

As soon as I got onto 1-5 in weed, i maintained 85 until a honda came up on me. I let him pass and followed him at around 90, 93 down the mountain to Redding. I made the 113mile stretch in about 90min or so. Was great time. I let him get away from me in redding cause I didnt want to risk seeing CHP again.

But then while cruising at 80 i came up on a riced WRX. Not sure if it was the exhaust or what, but when I came up on him he accelerated away from me. I followed and didnt stop until my speedo hit 110. I figured that was enough and backed off, which was a good idea since he was taking the next off ramp.

Overall, i made the trip in 9.5 hours, which is record time. And no tickets, which is amazing.
