Getting the pipes custom bent is the best and cheapest way. That is, if you know a guy who's willing to help you out.

Head to a local exhaust shop and have them bend you a pipe.
OOORRRR, go to
www.JCwhitney.com and order some CNC Mandrel bent pipes. Then just cut them and have them welded together.
Don't know what I'm gonna be doing when I go FMIC. I might just have my buddy at the shop hook me up with a custom mandrel bend. He's got a lot of experience with it, so I trust his judgement on the bent pipes and welds.

azn2nr - Order mandel pipes. Just take measurements and order from here:
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Prod ... 11/c-10101
CNC mandrel bent (real bent, true diameter, not press-mandrel bent).
You can also get Aluminized tubing if you don't want the good T304 stuff.
Get a pipe wrap deal for the IC -> TB pipe to keep temps down.
azn2nr - do you have pics of your IC yet?

no pics yet. i need to take a hammer or sazal to the skid plate to make it fit with the bumper cover on. thoes jc whintey pipes are hella expensive and most are j bends. summit has cheaper ones about 15 bucks a U bend and 10 feet of pipe is 40 bucks plus my friend works at a parts store and can get them cheaper.
as soon as i get my vf39 ill get the intercooler piped. as soon as i get a standalone ill be done.
as a side note i thought i would build this car up and transfer the stuff to a gc but monster miatas have caught my attention so ill probaly be saving up for that.
