Hi guys, just have questions would asking for your help, I lucky have a chance to get a set of EJ20G engine wire harness for my already swaped engine.
Have anyone did the engine wire harness swap before?
How hard to install it?
Is it possiable to install by myself?

Also is it worth to install?
since my car is running with the US ECU with some modify.

Needs to hear from all you guys!

Thanks

Are you getting the EJ20G ECU with it? That would be the only reason I can see to swap the harness.

Wait a second -- aren't the harnesses basically the same between the EJ20G and EJ22T? I thought the only difference was the ignition wiring since the EJ20G has 4-channel ignition.

I don't really have any good sources on non-USDM wiring info, but what year/model is your EJ20G from?

And would you also get the EJ20G ECU?

I'll see what I can find out... But, yeah, unless the harness enables you to use the correct ECU, I see no reason to buy it and install it. And I'm pretty sure that your wiring is already almost completely suitable for the correct ECU.

What modifications does your engine management have? I thought it was just the stock EJ22T ECU, and the ignition system was converted to coil pack.

Hey, on an semi-unrelated note ... ej22t, do you have access to a digital camera or anything? I'm really curious what your valve covers look like where the spark plugs go in. In particular, I want to know how the ignition coils mount. Do they just snap onto the plugs and that's it, or are there bolt holes that don't exist on the USDM engines, or what?
