Pissy 02 sensor plug

This is probably a stupid question but here goes........How does the O2 sensor plug come apart? I can see that it has a tab that you obviuosly push down, but no go, I dont want to break it. Also, a wire pulled out the back of it, can it be re-inserted?

You have to pull it up, not push it down. Use a small flat head screw driver, stick it in there and turn it sideways, then pull it apart. Hope that helps.

Oh and yes they (the wire) can be reinsterted into the connector but IIRC you need a special tool.

And -- it sounds obvious but I'll say it anyway -- be careful if the exhaust is still hot! Burns are no fun.

Hehe, ya no kidding, I seriously have about 8 scars from burning myself when working with the O2 sensor while the turbo/exhaust components are still hot.
