Yeah, like 3 of them. It sucks. Ive been going through gallons and gallons of water lately. I need to take the time tomorrow or wednesday to replace it.

A 1 row radiator is $140 and a 2 row is $250.

Does my '92 come stock with a 2 row or one? Also, the turbo's radiator doesnt have a spout and cap, it has a resevoir above on the other side of the manifold. I heard that resevoir has to be removed to install the AWIC (which i have sitting in the garage, waiting) so should I get a standard radiator with a regular fill spout, and 86 the resevoir? Would that even work?

I gotta get it done before i warp a head or something.

Then, if Josh is correct, your car's stock radiator is 2-core, since it's a turbo.

The filler tank may or may not have to be removed to install the AWIC... It might be possible to make it fit. But it would probably be better to relocate the filler tank than to simply remove it, because it serves a useful purpose: it helps cool the turbo after the engine is turned off.

But if you wanted to get rid of the tank and use a radiator with a cap, you could. You just splice the two large hoses together. The small hose going to the back won't have anywhere to go on the new radiator, so you just leave it out. The small hose going to the filler neck will have to be moved to the new filler neck.

I don't think you'll be able to get a 2-core radiator with a cap, though... So you might have to lose some cooling capacity if you go that route.

Are you sure the leaks are in the radiator? Is it the stock radiator or an aftermarket one? If it's aftermarket and made of brass or copper you actually have a chance of soldering the leaks shut.

Yeah, the holes are big enough to piss out fluid. And im loosing coolant at a rapid rate.

I was gonna use pepper, and/or egg to clog the leak... but i dont feel like clogging a coolant passage or anything.

I called Napa and couldnt locate one. They said my best bet was the dealership. So I called the dealership and they wanted $360 for one. The guy at the dealership suggested I call 1-800-Radiators. I told him I wanted to make sure I got the right one, and he assured me they used OEM parts and gave me a few examples.
So I give it a shot and call 1-800-Radiators. The guy on the phone said his computer showed it to be Specific, and suggested I take my current Radiator to a shop and have it repaired. To keep him quiet I told him i hit a tree, and couldnt repair a folded radiator. That got him to continue searching and was able to find one in the Bay Area for $220. I asked if I had to pick it up, and he said "nope, can have it delivered to your door tomorrow". Keep in mind, this was Tuesday that I was on the phone.
So I agree'd and gave him my address, Credit Card # and everything went through just fine. Got my Confirmation # and was told it would be there the next day. It was a good thing I had wednesday off, I could sit and wait for FedEx all day, and with any luck have it installed by Wednesday night.
Wrong.
The radiator didnt show up until thursday. I found it waiting for me when I got home from work. I quickly unwrapped it and examined it. It was an exact match. Everything was identical, and it looked so beautiful all clean and new

Took me no time at all to remove the old one, and put the new one in. I filled it up and ran it for a while to monitor temps etc... Everything checks out a-okay.

But now i have a wierd hesitation problem. Hope I didnt damage anything when she overheated :\

I just recently replaced my radiator. I got it from a company out of Reno, and I mentioned the name in a thread about the subject. It was ~$250.

For future reference try Super Rupair in Boulder. They are on the web. I think I paid less than $150 for my turbo radiator...
