We could match up with the forward control Land Rover I'd like to have (though the Landie would likely break down on the way).

Unimogs are the isht! I'd love to import one, but alas, the money isn't there.

Gotta love the mogs. A few years back, I had a GTG with a group of Mercedes owners from the Mercedes Forum I frequent alot. To my surprise, 2 mogs showed up, and I could hear them about a mile before I could actually see them. One of them was an old 406 that had be converted into a crew cab, and the other was a 416 with that huge 5.7L diesel engine, and both were for sale, and I think they are still For Sale...

The 416 was somewhere around $16,000 and the 406 was around $11,000... There are lots of good sources to buy Mogs in the PNW, and actually a few firms that refurbish them to better than new condition...Yukonart wrote:Mmmmm. . . might hit them up in a few years.
