Timing belt tensioner adjuster. $103 at dealer, $6 at U-pull

Messed mine up during installation. Choked at the dealership and hoped I could find one at the U-Pull It yard. I got the last one out of 10 or so legacies. I could have pocketed it but felt I had to be honest and it paid off, with the cost only being $6, plus the $1 entry fee.

I paid $75 for my new tensioner at the dealer...

I don't trust ANY U-pull parts unless they are a stationary object (body panels, windows, interior trim). If it performs a task, I want it to be new.

Somehow I think Douglas is gonna be tearing his engine apart again long before the used tensioner wears out. :)

Remember -- we're all driving around on used parts. They're not inherently unreliable, and they're usually a better bang for the buck.
