Saab story

Just had to share this story with others who could appreciate it. While adventuring in my local junkyard, I happened upon the 5th, or so, Saab 900 turbo which had been raped of its intercooler. No surprise there, but they had left the cool plumbing with "Turbo Intercooler" cast on the outside. I decided to stash these in the trunk of a Subi sitting next to the Saab, (c'mon, you've all done this). I opened the trunk and tossed the parts deep inside. In an attempt to camoflauge the items, I picked up a panel that was lying in the trunk and ....SHAZAM!.... looky what we have underneath, a nicely stashed ALL ALUMINUM Saab 900 intercooler in excellent condition , no doubt from the very same car. I picked it up, resolute to pay whatever my jy buds demanded. I got the IC, pipes, and a bunch of bolts for $20 bucks! SUUUUUWWEEETTTT! Well, there's my Saab story, I know there is a parts diver out there somewhere sobbing as he opens up that trunk.

Same with me. I saw a Saab 900 Turbo sitting next to a BF wagon. I fully intended to get the Brake Bias valve from the BF, when I saw what was just sitting under the hood of the 85 Saab.

It was a 10-core "rare" intercooler.

Picked it up for 20 bucks, and completely forgot to get the brake prop valve from the BF.
