cruse control... help

OK well where to start.. i have a 92 subaru legacy turbo manual.
ok well my car used to be a auto be for i brought it. I have noticed the cruise control doesnt work at all. i Have read about them and under stand i will probly need a clutch switch or something?? nothing happens at all when i try to use the cruise control.. any body have ideas?? or paper work on how the subaru is wired?

The simplest solution might be just to swap the cruise control relay for one from an MT, if I understand correctly... Josh (legacy777) just converted his car to a manual and resolved this issue. I think he's going to post his writeup about it pretty soon, so maybe just watch for that?

so the car did have an AT, and it was converted to MT?

If you didn't swap the cruise computers from the MT, and you have cruise clutch switch, you can just run a wire over from the cruise clutch switch to the inhibitor relay. The cruise clutch switch is the blue one.

I should hopefully have the full write-up posted this weekend, which will have what I did, and what I just suggested.
