It looks like I'm getting a full 3" stainless steel WRX turboback exhaust system for cheap!! WRX guy sellin his stuff, gettin the buddy discount I guess. I'll post more info on the downpipe, diameters, etc... once I find them out.

AWIC installation is now on Stage 3. Have battery moved and coolant tank relocated. Now must move move ignitor, clean intercooler with kerosene, and find piece to adapt pipe to turbo compressor outlet and I think that's it. Front heat exchanger installation is dependent upon someone else's free time, but that should be soon, too.

I smell very low 15's...... I'm staying very modest with numbers. If I'm in the 14's I'll be blown away... If not, I only planned on low 15's :? .

I don't know if it is an HKS but downpipe looks realllly similar. Regular ol' plate where the wastegate is, but the 02 sensor is high up like ours. The muffler is quite ridiculous... it has like a 4" opening out the back. NOT tip... opening = tip. The system is really really loud and has no cats. I'm leaning towards something on the quiet side and no 4" tips ! So either, cat and/or resonator install along with different muffler... or I just might try and sell this system. Not sure. Decision phase.

Maybe the addition of a high flow cat and one of those three inch tube mufflers welded inline would help to deaden the sound.

clean your intercooler with gasoline - good quality stuff too - kerosene leaves an oily deposit inside your intercooler, then allow the cooler to drain and dry before installing.

brat4by4, what mods do you have done? I'm assuming its a EJ22t, with about 15psi with awic, providing you can keep fuel up to it (don't know what the injector sizes are on the 2.2) you should see high 13's with a full 3" turbo back exhaust and shortened intake.

the same above mods on a EJ20t motor will give a high 13sec pass.

K&N air filter and heavy-duty clutch is all. With AWIC installed I am not planning on running any higher than ~12 psi - on a temporary basis... maybe a screw-type MBC set to 0 so it's stock boost until special occasions.

After that it is either TD05-16G or Autronic ECU for horsepower. I don't feel like going crazy with the boost or trying to fiddle with the fuel cut-off any time soon. Plus it's my main ride for now until I get my Brat fixed or buy some sort of wagon (to fit a LARGE subwoofer enclosure). And suspension is next in line so cash won't flow for a loooong time.

I'll try to get digital pics of my AWIC install, exhaust system, and custom radio enclosure.
