A girl I work with, traded her Corolla S in for an 05 STi just today. White with gold wheels. 76 miles on it. She's about 5'2, and 19 years old.

That is all.

 My engine is FUBAR-ed and I can't afford to even fix that let alone get a STI.

Introduce her to the jimmy. If girls can date us for our cars (well, maybe not us exactly, but, well, you know what I mean) then why can't we do the same?

Yes, life is unfair.

I'm putting a gross amount of money into my legacy's motor, and I now have orders overseas where I can't bring it. Bleh.

Very unfair. At least she didn't trade cars the other way around.

Hmmm. . .

Well, the buyer I had for my STi has had to back-out. So my getting a new Legacy GT wagon will have to wait several months, now.

Hey, Art, I'll even-trade you for a Legacy wagon. It even has an STI sticker on it and no turbo lag.

2005 Legacy GT . . . EJ255 engine . . . very similar to that of the USDM STi's EJ257 . . . excellent potential for 300whp in the future.

How could she possibly trade down to a sti after experiencing the awe inspiring power of the sports model corolla?

but someting about already having 300hp and the abilty to get 550 with 4 mods and run high 9s low 10s at sea level is just apeals to me a little more than the uber sexiness of the new legacy

I forgot to add: This girl's boyfriend's STi is probably the fastest one in Orlando (T76... enough said ). It's all riced out though...

I also would take a Legacy GT over an STi. I like some elegant styling and some stealth with my speed. The STi is an awesome car, but it's not the prettiest car in the world, at least not to me, and that wing is screaming "Hey, Mr. Policeman! Pull me over please!"
