The gauges actually came out, and I now have a buyer for them. 
Yes. . . that's on of my favorite onramps. Can easily hit 0-100 in about 6-7 seconds. . . and there's really nowhere you can get clocked. And it's uphill. . . so passengers in the STee really feel the pull of the engine under hard accelleration.

I predict this new 7 passenger thing will be some GM platform sharing wierdness, and the vagina will more likely be in the front left seat than on the front.

I read in Car and Driver or some magazine that this new 7 passenger will be the the basis for Saab's next SUV thing.

Not quite.
Saab's 9-7X, which is what you're referring to, is going to be based off the Chevy Trailblazer/GMC Envoy/Oldsmobile Bravada/Buick Rainier/Isuzu Ascender (phew! )
I really hope that GM isn't forcing part of this platform over on Subaru for this behemoth!!!

Well at least the new, GM based platform, Subaru 7 seater will have a Subaru engine, not a crap GM one.
