Has anyone made a front bumper light bar?

i want to buy or make a front bumper light bar for a pair of hella 500 driving lamps has anyone done this?

These are mounted to the bumper beam through the upper cover and shimmed in between the cover and beam. Not a recommended way of doing it, but that's what it looks like.
