Looking over the site some of you are running these wheels and tyres.
I would be interested to know how much effort is involved, or if any of you have fitted them straight on a BF legacy? (wheel offset is 53)
Cheers

I'm running them. I've made a few posts.
Rolling the fenders, and I only rub every once in a while.
225/45/17's on 17x7.5" + 48mm wheels.
You can get away with 215's and not worry about rubbing. I have a fascination with as much lateral grip as possible, so I wen't with 225's.

Cheers guys.
It's a 94 wagon. I bought the wheels and when I went to put them on found a broken spring so need to fix that first. With 53 offset they seem real close to the struts on the rear, how much clearance do I need?
BAC5.2 are you running stock suspension?

I am on stock suspension.
How wide are the wheels?

Wheels are 7.5" so if needs be I think I can go down to 215's on the rims, it would be nice to bolt em straight on though!

17x7.5 with a 53mm offset won't fit well. It will tuck to far in, and you'll most likely rub the tire on the strut.
The 05 Legacy GT wheels are 17x7" w/ 215's and they BARELY fit on my car (+53mm).

I switched to my stock rims for the winter after losing one of the toyo's but the 17's hardly ever rubbed for me
