bad boost reading?

i have a morgie fuel cut defender tee-d in near the pressure exchange solenoid. i also wanted to get a better boost reading, so i tee-d the boost gauge line close to to the intake nipple . i put the boost gauge line on the same line that my morgie fcd is on. where it is connected allows me to read vacuum and boost, but the boost doesnt seem correct. previously, i had the boost gauge attached between the outlet pipe of my intercooler and my throttle body. while hooked up there, at 13psi exactly there would be fuel cut. before i moved the boost gauge line i was running 15psi and when i moved it, it only reads 9psi. is there a better place to put my boost gauge so i know exactly what psi im running? pictures?
